In episode 2, Derek and Nick speak with several of the Bedford Police from 1983 including “Cotton” Duncan who shares a theory into who the captain could be.

In episode 2, we also spend time going through other members of the Bedford Police from 1983, including Det. Dave Jarrard and Patrolman Dennis Parsley, who we first met in episode 1.

As the police search for the suspect, some in Bedford are concerned about Captain Purple. However, K-Mart employee Richard King pens an op-ed in support of the town’s new superhero.
